Terms and Conditions
These terms summarize the MVP rules Yuda applies while matching people who request local help with people who accept and complete those jobs.
Marketplace Roles
Requesters post jobs and choose whether to confirm a helper. Helpers choose whether to request or accept work. Yuda provides the marketplace, payment tooling, notices, and review/claim workflows.
Payments
- Requesters must have a valid saved payment method before starting paid work.
- When a requester confirms a helper, Yuda authorizes the requester's card before the job moves to active work.
- The authorization is captured only after completion is confirmed, auto-confirmed after the review window, or resolved through an approved claim/support outcome.
- If an authorization is close to expiring, Yuda may pause completion and ask the requester to reauthorize before payment can be released.
- Helper payouts depend on Stripe Connect transfer and payout readiness.
Cancellations
Yuda does not automatically charge a cancellation fee during the MVP. Ordinary pre-completion cancellation releases any uncaptured payment hold. Once completion is pending or a job is completed, cancellation is not the normal path; the requester should confirm completion or open a serious-problem claim.
Claims And Refunds
- Serious-problem claims are for material completion problems, fraudulent completion, or comparable issues.
- Submitting a claim does not guarantee a refund.
- If staff approves a refund, Yuda may issue a full or partial Stripe refund.
- If a helper transfer already happened, Yuda reverses the relevant helper transfer amount before refunding the requester.
- If a helper transfer is still pending, Yuda cancels or reduces that pending transfer before refunding the requester.
Account Requirements
Users must keep account, contact, payment, and payout information accurate. Yuda may block sensitive actions for inactive, pending-deletion, suspended, or deleted accounts.
Support And Changes
Yuda may update these terms as the marketplace, payment policy, and support process mature. Future no-show or cancellation fees will require clear product copy, evidence rules, and support review before they are introduced.
